Ming Li had slept through the entire ordeal at her home on Swan Place in Pennant Hills, in Sydney's Hills District, about 12:30am on March 17. But she grew suspicious something had happened after spotting a number of broken pot plants around the home and reviewed security footage from her kitchen. Her home's CCTV caught phatom-like images of the pair, believed to be teenagers, sneaking around her kitchen as they used a flashlight to try to find anything of value. They were seen entering and exiting the home three times before leaving empty-handed from the 10-minute blitz that left Ms Li's family frightened. A homeowner has awoken to security footage of two men, believed to be teens, breaking into her home and snooping around her kitchen (pictured) while she slept Ming Li (pictured) said the incident has left her too scared to sleep because her life feels 'threatened' Ms Li said she feels as if her life has been threatened by the break in and now 'can't sleep at night'. Her son, Jason Shiwang, was awake during the incident but was upstairs chatting with friends and didn't hear the teens snooping around. 'It was really scary because they were just downstairs the whole time,' he told 7News. '(We were) definitely in danger in that moment, I realise that.' Ms Li believed the duo were searching through the home to find keys to her Lexus parked in the driveway and only left once they found the key remote was broken. Ms Li passed the footage onto police who confirmed officers from The Hills Police Area Command have commenced an investigation. NSW Police said one of the intruders was described as 'wearing a dark coloured hoodie, the other wearing a light-coloured hoodie and a balaclava'. 'The resident reported the incident after reviewing footage from inside the house,' said a spokesman.
