An all-girls football team has won a boys' league after going unbeaten all season and earning the 'invincibles' title.
Queens Park Ladies U12s finished with 18 wins, four draws and no losses in the league of 11 boys' teams and theirs.
The only girls team in the Bournemouth boys' Youth Football League, they scored 61 goals and conceded only 11.

They will now be promoted to Division 2 of the U13s boys' Bournemouth Youth League

League officials told the manager they had to play in a girls' league, but he insisted they were good enough to play against the boys
And the girls, aged 11 and 12, have proved their manager right. They finished the season with 18 wins
