British holidaymakers drank a plane dry just 25 minutes into four-hour flight, an airline boss has revealed.
Turkish-German airline SunExpress was left stunned after every drop of beer and wine had been downed as they carted golfers off on holiday.
And now CEO Max Kownatzki is looking to expand the company's presence in the UK, after it first started doing flights from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester in 2022.
The former Lufthansa executive politely told TTG that British tourists are: 'More high-spend, more hedonistic.'
He added: 'We sold out of beer and wine 25 minutes after departure; we haven't done that in any other market.'
Brits reacted to the news with pride after
