A gang of young thugs have locals terrified of escalating violence after an alleged unprovoked attack on a delivery driver.
The incident on Glebe Point Road in Glebe, Sydney's Inner West, about 1am on April 15 was filmed by a local and shared to 2GB's Ben Fordham.
It shows the delivery driver in a high-vis jacket surrounded by the thugs who rushed him and allegedly attempted to attack him.
A number of objects were allegedly thrown at the driver before he was forced to take off on foot with the thugs in hot pursuit.
Locals said the alleged incident is just the latest in a string of escalating incidents that have recently been occurring in the suburb.
