A man has died after a parachute 'incident' at a County Durham industrial estate.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the South West Industrial Estate in Shotton at 12.30pm on Saturday following concerns for a man's welfare.
The man, in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene as police officers and a cordon remained in place for some time.
The police said they are want to speak to anyone that was travelling on the A19 around
