Amazon Australia has launched a recruitment drive to hire 1,400 seasonal workers ahead of the mid-year sales and no prior experience is necessary.

The multi-national tech giant launched the massive campaign on Monday to boost their workforce ahead of the end of financial year sales period in June and the Prime Day shopping event in July.

Hundreds of staff will be hired to work at Amazon fulfilment centres and logistics sites across Australia to pick, pack, and ship orders from the warehouses to customers.

Amazon Australia launched the recruitment drive to keep up with customer demand with the busy sales period now just weeks away.
