Jay Blades' sister-in-law posts cryptic message after The Repair Shop star's ... trends now

Jay Blades's sister-in-law has posted a cryptic message on social media after The Repair Shop star's wife revealed their marriage had ended.

Teresa Zbozen, whose sister Lisa Zbozen married Blades in November 2022, made reference to 'using code words on messages and calls to be sure it's safe to ring'.

She also wrote about 'keeping the secret', adding: 'Right now I am nothing but grateful, relieved and hopeful for my sister's future outside of her marriage.'

It comes after fitness trainer Lisa yesterday took to Instagram to confirm the split from Blades, who has been married once before and has three children.

Teresa wrote on Instagram today: 'Processing and trying to comprehend how or why someone you love could find themselves in this situation has been difficult.

'Keeping the secret, using code words on messages and calls to be sure it's safe to ring, until it all became too much has left me a range of emotions. 

'Right now I am nothing but grateful, relieved and hopeful for my sister's future outside of her marriage. There are so many why's? So many questions to which I am sure we will not get the answers.'

She also said: 'For those who can't understand why @lisamariezbozen has spoken out and taken action, I ask what would you do?'

Today, furniture restorer Blades was believed to be holed up at the stunning country home he once shared with Lisa as friends rallied round after her very public announcement that their marriage was over.

Lisa posted an emotional statement to social media signalling she had ended their 18-month marriage and was no longer living at the property adjoining a sprawling country estate.

A female friend was seen arriving at the secluded property while another friend who opened the eight-foot-high gate electronic refused to comment.

A black Range Rover with a personalised number plate and Bentley car were parked in the expansive driveway to the detached property that is hidden from the road by a wall and shrubbery.

The friend who opened the main front gate monitored by a CCTV camera said: 'There is nothing to say.'

Neighbours said they hardly saw 54-year-old Blades, who runs a furniture restoration company in the Shropshire village of Ironbridge, at the property.

One told MailOnline: 'He is away filming most of the time, but they are a very private couple. The house is very secluded, and you would only see then when they drive out.'

Liza is understood to have fled to her sister's home where she posted an emotional statement about the end of her marriage to her Instagram account.

Blades has not made any comment about the split having already announced earlier this week that he was taking a break from social media, saying that the death of his 'super nice guy' uncle had 'really affected me'.

He added: 'I'm coming off social media for a bit, and I'll be back in a bit. Going to go and get some therapy and just chill out.'

Blades's uncle Richard Brathwaite, 72, was found dead in Wembley, north London, in March after allegedly being stabbed to death by a neighbour following a long-running dispute over a shared alleyway.

A man, also aged 72, has been charged with murder, wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
