Terrifying footage captured the moment a teen driver on their learner licence flipped their car before crashing into a roundabout and injuring a child passenger.
The heart-stopping crash unfolded on Cobham Street at Hamilton, on New Zealand's North Island, at 1.24am on March 8.
Dashcam footage from a nearby car captured the crash and showed the white sedan gaining speed as it approached the vehicle from behind.
The vehicle then became airborne and launched over the roundabout before it spectacularly nosedived into a street sign.
