Taco Bell fans shocked after worker reveals how they make their eggs for their ... trends now

A TikTok user who is known for their fast-food preparation videos showed viewers how Taco Bell cooks their eggs.

The Taco Bell employee (sharing under the handle @howfoodismade) posted a TikTok video on April 27 on how the company seemingly boils their eggs in a plastic bag.

More than four million TikTokers have seen the video, and some 1,000 commenters  are divided on their approach to the breakfast staple.

The TikToker took the bagged eggs and dipped them into the water in the re-thermalizer, similar to a sous vide technique.

The user then took a can of bakery release spray and sprayed some of it into a stainless steel table pan, before eventually pouring the cooked eggs into the pan, and the breakfast ingredient was ready to serve at the restaurant.

More than one commenter called Taco Bell's eggs 'not real' despite the company saying that they are 'cage-free.'

According to the Taco Bell website, all of its US restaurants are 'committed to serving 100 percent whole cage-free eggs.'

'We’re proud that our eggs come from hens raised in an open environment where they can feel comfortable and display their natural behaviors,' the company's website reads.

'Since then, we expanded our commitment to serve 100% cage-free egg ingredients across our entire menu in all US and
