Italian man arrested by FBI for kidnapping student

A jet-setting Italian man has been arrested in Seattle for kidnapping a Georgetown University student 3,000 miles away and trying to force him to buy Cartier jewelry and withdraw cash.

Paolo Aldorasi, 34, is accused of kidnapping the Korean student in his white SUV on January 26 then forcing him to visit several banks and the high-end jewelry store across Washington DC and Maryland against his will. 

Aldorasi is based in London but flew to the US in mid-January to start a flashy tour of restaurants, nightclubs and bars around the country which he documents enthusiastically on social media.

He had already visited Florida, New York and Virginia before arriving in Washington on January 26. 

He allegedly lured the student into his car by asking for directions and telling him he had a 'present' for him.

They drove to several banks where he stood over the youngster as he tried without success to withdraw hundreds of dollars.

The pair were then seen on surveillance footage entering a Cartier store where, according to NBC, he tried to make him pay for $6,000 bracelet. 

The transaction was declined. He is then accused of taking the student to a Best Buy store to purchase $846 worth of
