New ticket machines that take photos of vehicles and ask drivers to enter their number plates have outraged Perth residents.

Road users in Leederville and North Perth have slammed the new technology as the new system is rolled out across the state.   

Drivers are required to enter their car registration, which is causing time delays for those unsure of their number plates, with others uncertain how to order the correct ticket,

reports.
