Man attacked with 'liquid substance' near Harrods

The incident happened at 8.33pm last night on Walton Place in Knightsbridge 47-year-old victim was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital  Extent of his injuries are unknown but he has since been discharged by staff  Scotland Yard said it is not known if the liquid was a corrosive substance

A man has been taken to hospital after 'men on a moped' threw a liquid substance in his face in an attempted robbery in West London.

The incident happened at 8.33pm last night on Walton Place in Knightsbridge, London, near to Harrods department store.

The 47-year-old pedestrian was treated by paramedics at the scene before he was taken to hospital in Central London.
