The husband of a missing woman has today issued a desperate appeal for information in a bid to find out what happened to her.
Nusrat Jahan, 34, has been missing for five days and police have already called on helicopters, coastguard teams and lifeboats to try and find her.
She was reported missing from her home in Aberdeen after a friend alerted police to concerns for her well-being on July 27.
Extensive enquiries and searches have been on-going to track her last movements and establish her current whereabouts.
And police say the last confirmed sighting of her was at Marischal College, Aberdeen, at around 4pm on Thursday.
Searches continued to the south of the city's beach yesterday (Tues), where she had suggested she was heading to on the evening she went missing.
