A cancer patient from Austin has died just days after her all-time favorite actor Rob Lowe fulfilled her dying wish in a heartfelt video.
Alexandra Charpentier, a mother-of-two, had been battling lung cancer for the past year before she died in hospice care on July 29.
Just a few days before, Lowe surprised the 48-year-old with a video message, sending her his love and prayers.
The brave single mother and marathon runner watched on in delight from her hospice room as Rob deemed her a 'fighter' and that he was 'sending prayers her way.'

A smiling Rob, 53, told Alex - who has followed his career from his teen idol days: 'Word has gotten back to me that you are a long time supporter of mine.
'I cannot tell you what that means to me, that people like what I do and pay attention to what i do. Particularly people who have been as enthusiastic as you.'
'I've seen some of your postings and I want to thank you. I want to say God bless and I'm sending prayers to you. I'm thinking of you. I know you are in a really tough fight.
'You're a fighter. I want to pat you on the back for that and hopefully give you some inspiration,' he continued before quipping: 'I got more stuff I'm doing and you got to be around to see it!
