Drunk fan speaks about throwing beer during baseball game

A drunken fan who threw a beer at a Baltimore outfielder during a baseball game in Canada last year says that one mistake has ruined his life.

Ken Pagan ended up being charged with mischief over the ordeal after he tossed the beer at then-Baltimore Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim during the seventh inning against the Toronto Blue Jays in October.

The 42-year-old Toronto copy editor handed himself into police after authorities released a photo of him and a manhunt ensued on social media for the unruly fan.

He has now spoken out for the first time in an interview with CBC, saying he can no longer watch his Blue Jays play without feeling guilty. 

'I was an idiot. I let a lot of people down. I'd rather not sit through nine innings of feeling like that,' Pagan said.

The decision led to him losing his job, a lengthy court battle and him being temporarily banned from every Major League Baseball game.
