Two Australian teen soccer stars sent home for shoplifting

Two boys from the Australian under-15 soccer team were sent home from the 2017 ASEAN championships in Thailand after allegedly shoplifting from a local store.

According to Fairfax, the two Joeys were kicked off the team after allegedly being caught by police in the coastal Chonburi region.

They pair reportedly were not detained and did not require assistance from the Australian consulate, but did leave Thailand before the tournament was over.
