An Uber driver has been accused of holding a female passenger captive which left her locked in the car for more than an hour.
Brisbane driver Umar Gammeda allegedly held the 25-year-old woman captive against her will in his car on Saturday night.
Mr Gammeda, 45, told 7 News he did not mean to frighten the young woman.

The 13 minute trip (pictured) lasted more than an hour after the woman claims Mr Gammeda drove past her destination
'The GPS signal is, just got lost. And just we go the wrong way,' he said.
The young woman was picked up from her Paddington house and requested to be dropped off six kilometres away at Wickham Hotel in Fortitude Valley, a 13-minute drive expected to cost $20.
However, the woman alleges Mr Gammeda drove past her destination.
The woman told the network she was hanging out the window crying and tried to get out of the car several times after he did not stop the car when she asked him to.
