The son of Alabama assistant coach Mike Locksley was shot and killed over the weekend.
Meiko Locksley, 25, was shot in Columbia, Maryland just after 10pm on Sunday, and died a short time later from his injuries in hospital.
'Multiple callers reported hearing a single gunshot in the neighborhood, and a resident located Locksley outside and called 911,' Howard County police said in a news release.
Police are investigating but say they have no suspect or motive behind the shooting.

Meiko's death came after Crimson Tide romped to a 24-7 victory over No. 3 Florida State. About 24 hours later, the 25-year-old was gunned down.
Since then, the Alabama Crimson Tide family have paid tribute to Meiko and send their condolences.
Head coach Nick Saban passed on his 'thoughts and prayers' to Mike Locksley and his family after the tragedy.
