The 2017 Sélection Caseus, a contest to select the province’s best cheeses, awarded its prizes Tuesday.

This year a jury of 25 experts judged more than 217 cheeses, and recognized winning cheeses in 24 categories.

Every year, cheese makers from across the province submit their best creations. Sélection Caseus is a registered trademark of the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ).
