The comedian, widely known for hosting popular ITV gameshow Golden Balls, was scheduled to perform at the Princes Theatre in Clacton-on-Sea later this year.
Due to appear on Tuesday, November 28, as part of his Stand Up & Rock Tour, the 71-year-old has now issued a statement revealing why he must pull out.
Assuring his worried fans, Carrott said that his heart surgery is “not desperate”, but needs to take place as soon as possible.
Requiring three months to recover after the operation, the presenter has decided to postpone the rest of his tour until next spring.Related articles
