It takes a lot to upstage Blenheim Palace, but Camilla Thorp succeeded when she wore Britain’s first Dolce & Gabbana dress to marry the Marquess of Blandford yesterday.

The 31-year-old and George Spencer-Churchill, 26, the eldest son of the Duke of Marlborough, were married at St Mary and Magdalene Church in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.

Interior designer Camilla was given away by her father James, an architect.

After the ceremony, the couple celebrated with friends and family at the palace, which is set in 2,000 acres.
