Emmerdale's Claire King has revealed she found it 'daunting' reprising her role as Kim Tate after 19 years away from the soap.
Speaking to The Mirror, the 55-year-old actress said that despite her fears, it felt like 'coming home' as she made a sensational return to the Dales that made her a star.
Kim's return will send shock-waves through the village when it plays out on-screen next week, and jaw-dropping scenes could see her life hanging in the balance after she is pushed down the stairs at a masquerade ball.

Speaking about her return, Claire admitted it was a challenge keeping the news hidden from much of her friends and family.
She said: 'It was top secret. I told my mum and dad and my partner. But my name was secret on call sheets and scripts. I had to park round the back so fans at the front couldn't see me. Everybody kept it really quiet.'
'I'm a Yorkshire lass anyway so it is like coming home. And the house hasn't changed a bit.
'I have been surprised at the reaction. But it is also daunting being up there in the middle of it, the centre of attention.'
