The newbie judge stood with mouth agape after a 35-year-old mom from Chicago belted out River by Bishop Briggs.
The contestant, named SandyRedd, impressed the other judges just as much: Jennifer Hudson and Adam Levine threw their shoes at the stage and Blake Shelton placed his cup down as an offering - after making sure he took a few more sips first.

SandyRedd, who fell pregnant with her first son as a teenager, had faced challenges before receiving her coveted 'four chair turn.'
'It hasn't been the easiest, raising two boys with my music career,' said the performer, who started a singing school to honor her dead mother.
'You are like fire…it was so magnificent,' said Kelly, after she finally regained her composure.
