Actress Ada Nicodemou reveals her battle with 'perfectionism' after the birth ...

Actress Ada Nicodemou has played mainstay Leah Patterson on Home and Away for the past 18 years.  

But now, the star has revealed her personal battle with 'perfectionism', which began after the birth of her son, Johnas Xipolitas, six.

On Thursday, Ada, 41, was candid when she spoke to Good Health and Wellbeing magazine about her need for perfectness.

'I do get overwhelmed,' the mother-of-one confessed about juggling parenthood and a demanding career.  

Ada went on to say that her need for perfection had to be challenged after the birth of her son.

'The most challenging thing I found was realising that there were a lot of things you can't control.' she divulged.

'You can't control a newborn and sometimes you just have to go with the flow. I'm a real perfectionist, and I've struggled with that because I like to have a 'show home.' 

She finished: 'I like him to be perfectly dressed and I like him to eat nutritional food, but you have to let go of all of
