It's no secret Kyle Sandilands has struggled with weight throughout the years, once even tipping the scales at 135 kg.
And now New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian has shared her concerns over the shock jock's battle with the bulge.
After Kyle briefly spoke about his prior addiction to cocaine on his radio show on Friday, the 48-year-old politician, who was a guest on the program, interjected saying, 'I obviously haven't known you personally during all that time but you look like you're in a great place now.'

When Jackie chimed in questioning if her co-host really looked like he was in a good place, Kyle admitted he was overweight.
This prompted Gladys to tell him she wanted to see him drop his excess weight.
'Only because I want to see you live a long and happy life with your beautiful partner (Imogen Anthony) and your children,' she said.

While Kyle sounded humorously offended, the politician insisted she said that for his own good.
'I'm sorry, but you know what people who care about you tell you the truth. People that don't care about you tell you what you want to hear,' she said.
'So we care about you Kyle. It's a mini intervention on air,' she added.
