Ex Coronation Street star Sean Ward admits he has given up cannabis, alcohol and porn to combat his depression The actor, 30, who played villain Callum Logan in the popular soap until 2015, told his fans in an Instagram video he had to quit his vices in a bid to overcome his mental health problems The brave star said he had an 'addictive personality' and had previously been self-medicating to deal with his depression. Writing alongside the video, he continued: 'Once my whole world was fragmented due to depression I realised a lot of things had crept into my being that did not support my dream  'I take full responsibility for my addictions and now I'm back in control. It sounds obvious but NO BOOZE, NO DRUGS & NO PORN' This marks the first time Sean has spoken about his depression   Sean's character, drug dealer Callum Logan was first introduced in 2014, but was killed by Kylie Platt the following year  He was previously in a relationship with actress Georgia May-Foote, with the pair splitting after she appeared on the 2015 series of Strictly Come Dancing

Ex Coronation Street star Sean Ward candidly discussed his battle with depression in a hard-hitting Instagram video on Sunday where he admitted he has given up cannabis, porn and alcohol to combat the condition.

The actor, 30, who played villain Callum Logan in the popular soap until 2015, told his fans he had to quit his vices in a bid to overcome his mental health problems.

Speaking to his followers, the brave star said he had an 'addictive personality' and had previously been self-medicating to deal with his depression.
