She failed to win Best Daytime Show with Good Morning Britain. 

Yet Susanna Reid certainly did enough to scoop best dressed at The National Television Awards on Tuesday night. 

The 48-year-old journalist looked phenomenal as she hit the red carpet outside London's O2 Arena clad in a glittering emerald gown with a busty key hole cut out.

Showing off her hourglass curves, the sequinned dress clung to her youthful frame, flaring out into a full length skirt. 

The garment also featured a keyhole cut out across the bodice that showed off her ample cleavage.

Susanna finished off the look by styling her glossy chestnut locks into loose waves that framed her stunning features.   

The National Television Awards marked one of the most exciting nights in British TV, with faces from reality, scripted drama and comedy, soaps and quiz shows hoping to scoop a gong.

Held at London's O2, 2019's shortlist saw the likes of Killing Eve, Bodyguard and The Cry battle it out as some of the most talked-about new shows of the past 12 months. 

The awards, which were the most exciting and closely-fought yet, handed over power to the viewers, who have been voting since October.
