Reality stars often like to blame clever editing for how they appear on their TV shows, especially if they are the 'villains' of the piece.

But on Wednesday, former My Kitchen Rules star Jazzey Rooney-O'Rourke came out swinging against the cooking show's current 'villains' Josh and Austin Bonwick.

During a Q & A session on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, a fan asked Jazzey: 'How real is the Josh/Austin thing likely to be? Editing, or actually a**eholes?'

Jazzey didn't hold back, writing: 'Very likely.  No amount of editing could make people look that bad if they weren't a**holes to start with.'

She added: 'From my experience, usually the villains are genuinely the villains and the only thing that's "edited" is that if they say something nice for once it gets cut out.'

Josh and Austin Bonwick have become notorious for their cutting put-downs of other contestants on the current season of MKR.
