Celebrity Big Brother: Tamar Braxton wins season two of CBS reality show and ...

Tamar Braxton broke down in tears Wednesday as she won Celebrity Big Brother and the $250,000 grand prize.

The 41-year-old singer faced former NFL star Ricky Williams, 41, who won both of the Head of Household challenges during the two-hour live finale on CBS.

Tamar, with daisies in her blonde wig, looked in complete disbelief, her chest beating noticeably, as the votes from the housemates all went her way – throwing her hand over her face when she got the fifth vote need to secure the win.

She then almost fell over as she ran out to the studio while gold confetti fired into the air.

After the contestants hugged her, Tamar's five-year-old son Logan Vincent Herbert rushed up and briefly knocked her down as she tried to pick him up.

'I love you so much,' she told him repeatedly, before getting more shock that the voting had been unanimous, the first time since Big Brother's season 10.

'I'm so grateful, thank you guys so much,' she sobbed. 'I feel so amazing. I feel grateful to God and thank my family. And thank you guys for just being my lifelong friends.

'Now I get to buy my baby a house,' she said, still hugging Logan.

Ricky's wife Linnea Miron jumped into his arms as he walked out as the runner-up, getting $50,000.

Comedian Tom Green, 47, was then surprised with a check for $25,000 after being voted the viewers' favorite.

Tamar earlier insisted the show turned into a 'spiritual journey' for her – and joked about how she 'played this game to the best of my ability with a limited amount of lying – although I did a little bit.'

She then talked about getting 'the rug pulled from under' her in life, losing her job, husband, home and friends, adding: 'I even almost lost my life.'

'In the midst of all the turmoil and trouble I made a promise to myself, and that was to never give up on myself and to always be kind.

'And so I'm asking you all to be kind to this girl who is trying to get on her feet and just be the best person that I can be,' she told her housemates, raising a laugh when she said she was nervous because she's 'so shy.'

Ricky seemed a clear favorite, being the most calculated player of the season.

'He's like an assassin,' insisted former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, who returned to the show for the finale.

'If I ever needed to do a hit job or something he would be my guy. He's got a very soft personality but he knows how to play.'

Ricky proved it by easily winning the night's two HoH challenges, including the final one that gave him the power to choose his fellow finalists.

The live audience gasped when he announced that Olympian Lolo Jones, one of his closest allies in the house, would be leaving along with Lindsay Lohan's mom Dina.

Lolo could not hide her anger, complaining about how she 'saved him multiple times throughout the game' but predicting she would have won.

'Ricky always said to play this game so that you have friends afterward – the move he just made I don't know if I would want to continue the friendship.,' she told host Julie Chen Moonves, 49.

'I looked out for him so many times throughout this game ... I'm at a loss for words,' Lolo said.

She finally smiled when she correctly predicted he would come second.

'I mean 50,000 when he gets second after he gets taxes and his agent's fee – it's really not much,' she said.

Earlier, Lolo called the possibility of coming so close yet still losing the 'story of my life.'

'This close to an Olympic medal three times and then still lose,' she complained.

She was seated after leaving the Big Brother House next to Dina, 56, who raised a laugh when asked if she was also upset, admitting simply: 'No.'

Ricky remained calm throughout but seemed aware that he had alienated too many players.

'I'm looking at all you guys and thinking of things I said to probably p*** each one of you off,' he said as he addressed them before voting.

'So I apologize for that.'

Together again: Jonathan Bennett, Ryan Lochte, Joey Lawrence, Kato Kaelin, Natalie Eva Marie, Tom, Kandi, Dina, Lolo and Anthony Scaramucci voted on who should win after being evicted

Saying he 'played the game hard,' he insisted: 'I've tried to honor and be myself – my broody, quirky, moody, nerdy self.

'I think it's a great time to celebrate being real and that it actually means something,' he added.

Ricky – the only male in the final five – started strong by winning the first HoH competition to complete a magnetic puzzle in 20 seconds.

After his win, Ricky chose both Dina and Kandi Burruss– the only two not in his alliance – to face eviction, saying simply: 'Everyone knew the deal.'
