Married At First Sight's first virgin groom Matthew Bennett, 29, lost his virginity on the show to TV wife Lauren Huntriss.
And Sydney-based counselling psychotherapist Dr Karen Philip believes the videographer - who was extremely nervous and anxious about beginning his first sexual relationship - will be negatively impacted by appearing on the show.
Dr. Philip told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday: 'I see the heartache and hurt that's being caused by this supposed experiment.'

As a psychotherapist, Dr. Philip said she found the show 'ethically and morally inappropriate'.
'We know that your first sexual relationship is embraced - it's held so strongly within you. I feel terrible for him,' She said of his virginity being heavily featured on MAFS.
'I think he's going to be extremely hurt and damaged for a really long time, because of who they paired him
