Amy Sheppard, 28, has spoken candidly about her body image struggles, and why she's decided to ditch Instagram filters.
The Brisbane-based singer has sparked a nationwide women's empowerment movement, embracing her insecurities with the hashtag #kissmyfata** last month.
On Saturday, Amy spoke to the Courier Mail, saying she had been 'bullied for being overweight' in her childhood.

The singer says of her motivation for starting the campaign: 'I've been labelled pretty much every name under the sun in my lifetime.'
'I've been labelled a whale, I've been labelled fat, and then when I did lose the weight (between the age of 14 and 15)...[I was labelled anorexic],' she said.
The upset has inspired the singer songwriter to spearhead a movement for the body positive movement, but reveals it has been difficult.
