British pop star Rita Ora, 28, is set to kick off her Phoenix world tour in Australia next month. 

The hitmaker chose to launch her anticipated tour Down Under to reward the loyalty of her Aussie fans.

Speaking to Confidential on Saturday, she professed: 'I have become so touched by Australia and I love my fans over there.'

The 28-year-old has multiple hits in Australia, and has featured on singles with Aussie artists. 

Those singles include a collaboration with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea called Black Widow.   

Rita was last in Australia for the ARIA awards in November last year, where she performed her hit Let You Love Me.
