MKR villains Josh and Austin are 'in talks' with American reality TV producers

They've caused non-stop controversy on the latest season of My Kitchen Rules.

And it looks like Josh and Austin Bonwick's outrageous antics could pay off, with Daily Mail Australia learning that the pair have captured the attention of reality TV bigwigs in America.

According to industry sources, the home-schooled Christian brothers have been contacted by several reality TV production companies keen to cast the bad boys for drama.

Josh, 25, and Austin, 21, already have American citizenship, which allows them to work freely in the States. 

With their unique backstory and unfiltered opinions, producers believe that the duo could add some serious spice to their shows. 

Josh and Austin's antics on My Kitchen Rules have shocked viewers this year, with the Bonwick brothers mercilessly mocking their competitors each episode.

On the season premiere, Josh called Sydney socialites Ibby and Romel 'mail order brides, but the gay version.'

The God-fearing barista also made fun of one-eyed Instagram star Ash Keillah for having an eye patch and mocked plastic fantastic Peruvian Ruby for her cosmetic enhancements.

Josh and Austin's authenticity has come into question in recent weeks after it emerged that the brothers are both aspiring actors.   

Josh's Sydney Talent Company profile lists his acting credits and attributes.

He played a medic in the film Hacksaw Ridge and 'Waiter No. 1' in a commercial for Mon Purse alongside Jodi Gordon, in addition to starring in an Optus advertisement.
