Despite childhood immunisations being a hotly debated by some parents, Erin said she didn't understand why they 'didn't just do it.' Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, the Channel Nine starlet was forthright in giving her opinion on the controversial topic. Erin appeared to hint at the importance of 'herd immunity', which is the concept that more children are inoculated, the less likely disease will be passed on. '[As parents] We can walk away knowing that we've done everything in our power to protect not only our child but every other child she passes in the street or has contact with.' Shanelle Cartwright, 20, who married the controversial rugby league star last year, made the frank admission about their anti-vaxx beliefs on Instagram last week. When asked by one follower whether she vaccinated her first son Koa, 1, Mrs Cartwright said she was firmly against injecting her children. As a follow-up question the glamorous WAG was asked whether this would affect her children going to school. 'They can go to school (so far)... if the law changes, I'll home school before I vaccinate,' she said, adding her Gold Coast Titans star husband is on-board.
