She is known for her forthright views on Hollywood, spearheading the fight for justice against disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

And Rose McGowan ensured she made a bold fashion statement as she took to the catwalk for the Vivienne Westwood show during London Fashion Week on Sunday. 

The actress, 45, strutted down the runway in a white dress, which was adorned with slogans referencing democracy, free-thinkers and angels.

She paired edgy dress with silver space-age boots, tartan fingerless gloves and a striking multi-coloured wig. 

The Charmed star took to the catwalk in a green pea coat and addressed the audience before stripping it off to reveal the words written on the oversized t-shirt.  

Rose embodied Vivienne's vision of bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream as she stormed down the runway in a neon angel hat, oversized yellow knit and black shorts.
