Spencer Matthews has been slammed by Good Morning Britain viewers for his 'wooden' presenting style during his debut as showbiz correspondent on Monday's edition of the TV breakfast show.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 30, took on the hosting duties as he stepped in for Entertainment Editor Richard Arnold over the half-term period, but was met with backlash over his 'uncomfortable' and 'painful' performance.
Admitting his stint 'didn't go well', the TV personality issued an apology to fans for his 'lack of experience', and vowed to 'improve and loosen up over time'.

The reality star, who shares five-month-old son Theodore with wife Vogue Williams, appeared on the show to inform viewers on the latest showbiz updates, which saw him discuss Dolly Parton's 9-5 The Musical gala night, which took place on Sunday.
Despite his efforts, viewers took to Twitter in droves to hit out at the father-of-one's presenting stint, with one penning: 'Jesus Christ! I guess we know who will never get another presenting job #spencermatthews #GMB #cringe.'
Another angered social media user wrote: 'Just tuned in to @GMB to see @SpencerMatthews trying to execute some sort of entertainment report - was that a wind up? I’ve never witnessed something so awful.'
