Married At First Sight star Lauren Huntriss, 32, has revealed the emotional toll that appearing on Channel Nine's hit reality show has taken on her mental health.
Appearing in a no-holds-barred interview with the Kyle And Jackie O Show on Tuesday, Lauren said she has been attacked by bullies over her portrayal as a 'sex freak' and 'nympho' during her televised 'marriage' to 29-year-old ex-virgin Matthew Bennett.
'People are awful. I just don't get it, I'm a decent human. I'm compassionate and caring and for people to turn around and say like... i'm not even going to say it,' she explained.
'People are on Matt's side. I feel like there's this whole Team Matt, Team Loz... And I don't want that. I hate that whole thing,' Lauren added.
Clearly upset and anxious, Lauren, who admitted she was rebelling against Nine by doing the interview, was gently guided through the sit-down by Jackie 'O' Henderson and Beau Ryan.
