Armie Hammer, 32, rumored to be in final talks to replace Ben Affleck as

With Ben Affleck officially out as Batman, rumors have been swirling as to who will play the Dark Knight next, with Armie Hammer being the latest name being bandied about.

A new report from Revenge of the Fans claims that the 32-year-old Hammer was in 'advanced talks' to play Batman in director Matt Reeves' The Batman, but it seems that has already been debunked.

The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzalez, a.k.a. El Mayimbe, took to Twitter hours later to debunk the report according to his studio sources.

'Armie Hammer. Batman. Not true,' Gonzalez began. 'I just checked with the studio. And now agency sourcing backing up what the studio said.'

He added that former Game of Thrones star Richard Madden is his 'personal choice,' who is also 32 years old like Hammer.

He also added that, 'Also, Armie Hammer is 32 and I'm also told the role of Bruce is going to be younger. There are no targeted names YET.'
