Bondi Sands co-founder Blair James talks THAT Kylie Jenner plug

Australian tanning brand Bondi Sands last year scored a major plug from American reality star Kylie Jenner, after she raved about the product online to her millions of Instagram followers. 

And now the brand's owner and co-founder, Blair James, has spoken about working with the 21-year-old cosmetics queen. 

Blair - who hails from Melbourne - told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday that 'it was a huge endorsement and achievement' for the brand.

Speaking at the Body by Bondi Sands launch in Sydney's Double Bay, Blair said that he was thrilled that Kylie endorsed the product, seeing as she gets approached by so many brands and turns a lot of them down. 

'It was a huge endorsement for us,' Blair said, who co-founded the brand with friend Shaun Wilson. 

'She's approached by brands everyday and she turns away a lot of brands and she has her own cosmetic range as well. So to promote something that is so close to what she does, is a huge achievement.'

'It's her favourite tan and we are sending more and more product for her to use. We'll continue to work with her in the future... and some new faces as well,' Blair said. 

He added: 'Celebrity reach globally is growing. We've got an affiliation with a lot of reality faces in the UK and we've launched in the US so there's a lot of faces over there too.'
