'I could smell a rat!' MAFS' Jules Robinson reveals she knew Ines Basic was lying about her 'affair' with Sam Ball during explosive girl's night By Monique Friedlander For Daily Mail Australia Published: 21:26 GMT, 19 February 2019 | Updated: 21:26 GMT, 19 February 2019 Viewcomments Married At First Sight's Elizabeth Sobinoff went to war with Ines Basic over rumours that the legal assistant had feelings for her 'husband' Sam Ball on Tuesday night's episode. And while Ines flatly denied the allegations, fellow bride Jules Robinson says she knew Ines was being untruthful all along. Speaking to 9Honey Jules reflected on the moment during the interaction where Ines suddenly accused Elizabeth of 'disrespecting' Sam behind his back. 'When she was really vocal about Sam and had his back and was sticking up for him I was like, 'Whoa',' she said. 'I stood up and said, 'You've never really had much to say for yourself until now, do you like him?' I could smell a rat, basically.' Speaking of Ines and Sam's 'affair', Jules said: 'Maybe you're not meant to be with your partner, but just be honest about it and try not to hurt people along the way.' It comes after Elizabeth finally confronted Ines over her affair with her 'husband' Sam. The seething jewellery store manager stormed over to Ines screeching, 'Did you hook up with him?' after Cyrelle Jimenez Paule informed her of the rumours during a girls' night out. A shell-shocked Ines insisted she hadn't done anything with Sam, 26, despite being in bed with him the night before - and proceeded to call Elizabeth 'foul', 'pathetic' and a 'full-blown cockatoo' in a furious war of words. Dodging Elizabeth's questions, Ines said stubbornly: 'I think this is absolutely your problem.' An enraged Elizabeth turned to face the rest of the girls and demanded: 'What has everyone heard? Speak up! Speak up!' Feigning indifference, Ines drawled: 'Don't you think your drama is so not unnecessary? We all came here to have a good time. You're like a walking problem.' A stunned Elizabeth - who was leaning over Ines' chair - responded: 'Those are some big words, aren't they?'
