And after leaving Married At First Sight on Sunday, Matthew Bennett has revealed the behind-the-scenes dynamics of the show.
In an interview with Nova 96.9's Fitzy And Wippa, the 30-year-old said that producers make contestants re-enact scenes that happened off camera.

'When we go into the show we're told that if anything notable happens off camera that changes the dynamic of the relationship or how one person feels about another, we have to redo that conversation,' he told radio duo Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald and Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli.
'So when someone decides to say these big things off camera, of course we're going to have to redo the conversation,' he added.
Recalling the conversation he had with Lauren where she detailed her 'needs' in the bedroom, Matthew claimed the on-screen version was 'cleaner'.
