The 67-year-old, who has played Luke Skywalker in five movies for the franchise, retweeted a 1970s throwback photo posted by Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew.
'This pic is significant NOT because I was posing behind my 1-bedroom Malibu bachelor pad in a The Quick t-shirt,' Mark wrote Wednesday.

'It's because that Chewy mask rarity was a rejected prototype George Lucas gave me because he didn't want the finished product to be snarling. (& yes-I still have it).'
Peter's post was not the first time that old photo surfaced - Mark himself tweeted it in March 2016, writing: 'Picture of rare, unproduced Chewie mask w/open snarling mouth-a gift from George Lucas 4 you #UPFs to drool over! #SW'.
'UPFs' is an acronym Mark has been using on Twitter to mean 'ultra-passionate fans' at least as long ago as a 2013 https://twitter.com/hamillhimself/status/331175611143974912?lang=en thanking them for their 'enthusiasm & good will.'
He discussed the mask with December 2016, vamping: 'And I stress to all potential burglars out there, it's not at my house. It's in storage.'
