Ruby Rose scored the role of a lifetime last year when she landed the part of Batwoman in Warner Bros' new TV series.
And the Australian actor has been training hard for the breakout role, taking intense boxing sessions.
Ruby, 32, posted a video to Instagram on Thursday showing her thumping boxing pads with a personal trainer in a gym.
'Let the games begin!' Ruby Rose (pictured) showed off her boxing skills as she trains for her breakout role as Batwoman on Thursday
Ruby, wearing an orange singlet, black Nike shorts, black leggings and a yellow beanie, throws a series of hard right and left punches at the pads as she moves barefoot around the room.
Her trainer, also barefoot, encourages the superhero-in-training to duck and weave before throwing more punches at the pads.
The Meg star showed her customary sense of humour during the training session, smiling and shrugging her shoulders with a humble 'I don't think I really know what I'm doing' face.
