The Chainsmokers are one of the biggest acts in the world.
So when they heard about the supposedly luxurious Fyre Festival in late 2016, they wanted in.
Speaking to Smallzy's Surgery on the Nova 969 radio network, member Alex Pall said: 'What’s crazy is they killed it on the marketing. I was even sold on it.'

Alex admits what sucked him in was the advertising, which featured supermodels including Bella Hadid.
'I was like you have Bella Hadid, it looked like she was gonna be your best friend if you just bought a ticket,' he said, laughing.
The musician even tried to get his band on the bill, revealing: 'I definitely sent a message to my manager and agent when it started rolling before things went south.
'Like what’s the deal, are we going to get an offer for this festival?'
