Brit Awards bosses reportedly kept reality stars from mingling with A-listers including P!nk and Liam Payne on the red carpet following 'security concerns' the year before, according to The Sun. 

The website also claimed that organisers of the music awards,held at the O2 Arena on Wednesday, did not hand out tickets to Love Island and TOWIE stars in a bid to make the awards more 'upmarket' and focus on the acts.   

A Brits source told MailOnline access to the red carpet had changed for this year's ceremony, saying: 'The red carpet was more strict this year in terms of accreditation as last year’s was too crowded and became a safety and security concern.
