Courtney Love has left a heartbreaking comment underneath a picture of the late Kurt Cobain.
The Hole frontwoman, 54, who was married to the Nirvana star until his death in 1994, proved emotional on what would have been his 52nd birthday.
'So beautiful... seeing the bones in his face. I never get tired of this one,' Courtney commented under a striking black and white snap of Cobain, shot by famed photographer Mark Seliger.

Love married Kurt on February 24, 1992, on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.
They were married until the rocker's tragic death by suicide on April 5, 1994. The Lithium hitmaker died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in their Seattle home.
