And Richard E. Grant, 61, was adamant on continuing his joy as he attended the Reception For UK Oscars Nominees at British Consul Generals Residence, in Los Angeles, on Friday alongside his equally thrilled daughter Olivia, 30.
The actor, who is nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in Can You Ever Forgive Me?, looked incredibly dapper as he mingled with Hollywood's elite.

Putting on a snazzy display, Richard paired a blue shirt with a black suit, while daughter Olivia opted for a form-fitting grey dress with a flirty hem atop a white shirt.
Proving he was having the time of his life, the star took to his Instagram platform with a fun Boomerang video with Olivia.
'Dad-dancing with my daughter @oliviagranted at the WME party in LA!' he hilariously captioned the snap.
And continuing his celeb-packed selfies, Richard went on to upload snaps alongside Hollywood heavyweights Rebel Wilson and Amy Adams.

The night before he was seen grinning ear to ear as he posed with the likes of Laura Dern, Olivia Colman and Regina King at an Oscar nominees dinner.
On Thursday, he uploaded a sweet snap alongside Olivia as they got cosy on a plane to America. This came after he shared a snap of his invitation for the grand ceremony.
Richard will compete against Mahershala Ali (Green Book), Sam Elliott (A Star Is Born), Sam Rockwell (Vice) and Adam Driver (BlacKkKlansman) for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar.
Going on to talk about his preparation for the Oscars, Richard revealed to Variety he hasn't prepared a speech because he thinks that it's a 'foolish' thing to do.
