My Kitchen Rules contestant Ash Keillah has tackled the waves and went for a surf in the middle of cyclone Oma at a beach on the Gold Coast.
On Saturday, the 34-year-old TV star, also known as 'The friendly pirate,' braved the high swell as he entered the water with a friend.
Ash made sure he was well-stretched before heading into the ocean, performing a number of different yoga poses before hitting the sea.

Going shirtless, the adrenaline-junkie showed off his muscular frame, exposing his chest tattoos while catching waves in the ocean.
The bubbly reality star showed off his impressive surfing skills and attracted a large number of the public who came to spectate his daredevil surfing session.
Ash got his nickname 'The friendly pirate' after losing his eye in a shock accident, and has worn a black eye patch ever since.
