Steven Coogan is reportedly dating Melanie Sykes after the pair hit it off at a party in honour of his latest film Stan & Ollie, according to The Sun.
The celebrity pairing are apparently very keen on each other and even spent the weekend at his countryside Sussex home in order to get to know each other.
Steve, 53, and Mel, 48, are supposedly taking things slowly and wanted to try and see if the relationship could go anywhere by spending the weekend together.

A source told the publication that Melanie was really taken with the Alan Partridge star and found him both charming and humorous.
They said: 'People who know them have been joking about how well Steve has done — and even using DJ Alan Partridge's catchphrase 'Back of the net!'
'The weekend together was a bit of a test of whether the relationship has legs — and it seems it has.

The insider continued that due to their similar backgrounds the two TV personalities have a lot in common after both growing up and living in Manchester.
Mel is reportedly a Partridge fan and was relieved to find that his real life personality is a lot more charming than his on-screen alter-ego.
Mel and Steve are thought to have hit it off at the Stan & Ollie party at London's Soho Hotel in January,
