And Jennifer Hudson was in top form as she graced the red carpet of the 91st annual Academy Awards Sunday.

The starlet, who was there to perform the song I'll Fight from the documentary RBG, looked radiant in a red Elie Saab dress which flashed a hint of leg.

Crossing her body with a dramatic ruffles, Jennifer's gown was the epitome of red carpet elegance. A leggy slit offered the singer/actress an opportunity to display her fine stems. 

The American Idol alumnus amped up the glamour with diamond earrings and silver stilettos.

She kept her makeup understated, showing off an all-around glow and with a glossy nude lip.

Jennifer told veteran red carpet host Ryan Seacrest what viewers could expect from her performance, telling him: [The song] is about a movement and empowerment. I hope to inspire and I'm happy to be part of it and to be here and everything that she represents.'

She also opened up about what it was like to collaborate with songwriter Diane Warren.

'Diane writes with a purpose,' she said, adding 'Not to mention she's my favorite songwriter.

Tonight will mark Jennifer's fourth time performing at the Oscars.
